Hi Group,
Can someone provide an explanation how to use the trailing stop feature/order on the ironbeam platform? What I am looking for is, in one step, create an order and have it created with the trailing stop attached.
TIA!

Hey @Matter,
As we were making a guide on this for you today, we noticed that there is an issue with creating this order strategy currently and we are working on a hotfix.
I will post here to let you know when it is fixed as well as a guide on how to set automatic trailing stop orders.

Update: Fix will be implemented in version 1.91.3.
You can still of course use Trailing Stops, but to create an order and have it attached in one step will be fixed in the next version.
Let me know if there are any other questions I can assist with.

Hi Mike,
What is the current process for using the trailing stop?
Do I enter an order first, then enter a trailing stop in a separate step? When I do that, I don’t see the stop entered on the Depth widget.
If possible, can you post a reply here as to how we should be using the stop loss entry? Maybe if there is a recorded video on how to do this would be helpful too!
Thanks again!
Hey Matt,
This video should hopefully help: How To Use Trailing Stops on the Ironbeam Futures Trading Platform - YouTube

Hi Mike,
You mention “…making a guide…” in the response above. Are there anyother guides that have been created that I can reference to speed up my learning curve on the platform?
Thanks!
Hey @Stockdaddy,
There is a YouTube playlist that compiles some of the guides. We are working to add to this list, so any suggestions are helpful and we plan to add a few videos per week.

Hi Mike,
The video is indeed helpful. If I want a Limit order instead of Market order , would I be using the same strategy (order triggers next) or it will be something different.
Thanks
Rav
