Hi, first time user here. Does the IB app support user defined spreads? thx in advance

Welcome! Yes, it does.

  1. Open the Spreads widget

  1. Enter your legs. You can click ‘+Add’ for additional legs.

  1. Click ‘find’. The widget will either find the pre-existing spread, or create the spread at the exchange if it hasn’t already been traded.

thanks. will this work in a demo account?

It will work for pre-existing spreads in the demo environment, but it cannot create new spreads at the exchange in the demo of course.
